ACTIVITIES
Mountain Splendour is well-maintained and is constantly improving its facilities for guests. Mountain Splendour has something for everyone: large open lawns for chipping a golf ball or playing a game of family cricket, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a small animal farm, a large kiddies playground, an indoor play area that also offers an entertainment during holidays. Mountain Splendour has the only bicycle shop in the Berg and has some wonderful MTB trails (suitable for the whole family).

The following is a detailed list of activities and entertainment facilities that this venue provides:
- Tennis and volleyball courts (rackets and balls are available for hire from reception);
- Swimming Pool with a slide;
- Heated kiddies splash pond;
- A children’s playground;
- An animal farm;
- A tree-climbing experience and small kids pony rides;
- Plenty of open space for cricket, rounders or football (hire balls and bats);
Indoor activities include table tennis, foosball, darts and TV with Supersport and SABC channels. Hire table tennis bats, and balls can be hired from reception. - There are short walking trails and picnic spots around the farm.
- There are 5km and 10km loops of the purpose-built mountain and trail running track(MTB) around the property, as well as kiddies pump track.
- Furthermore, a Mountain Biking Skills Park;
- Mountain Biking and Running Trails. If you are a keen mountain biker or runner, we are only a short distance from the neighbouring rural areas providing traffic-free cattle paths, challenging hills and superb single track riding.
- Mountain bikes for hire – enquire at the office. All bikes are hired with helmets;
A well-stocked MTB shop stocking a wide range of accessories and apparel, new bikes and bike servicing;
ACCOMMODATION
This venue has a variety of accommodation, including:
- Camping and Caravaning sites (all with electricity). The choice to upgrade and have a private ablution site with/without a kitchenette area.
- Log Cabins. Self-catering units with wonderful mountain views are serviced daily.
- Luxury Glamping tents. This is the ultimate in camping – still sleep under canvas but have the luxury of an ensuite bathroom, open plan kitchen, dining area, log fireplace for cold winter nights and a large veranda with built-in braai. It is serviced daily.
- Luxury Tents. Tents pitched to your specification. Equipped with hotel-grade beds and linen it includes a mini-camp kitchen under the eve of the tent. Known as mini-glamping.
- Safari Tents. For this looking for an authentic camping experience. Arrive to set up a tent with the choice to include mattresses (bring your own linen), bring the rest of your camping gear. So useful for overflow of teenagers from your caravan as these can be set up on any site in the resort. Also available for off-site hire.
