Easby B&B is a warm and welcoming Bed and Breakfast Establishment and a notable wedding venue.  This venue is situated close to Northern & Central Drakensberg Mountains, as well as noted historical sights. It is specifically located between the towns of Bergville and Ladysmith. 

ACTIVITIES

A wide range of must-see activities exists in the vicinity of Easby. These include:

  • Firstly, hike in the Amphitheatre of the Northern Drakensberg;
  • A hike in the Central Drakensberg, such as Monks Cowl or Cathedral Peak;
  • A visit to Main Cave at Giants Castle Camp, one of the most significant sites of San Rock art and which is open to the public; and
  • Lastly, a trip to the location of the famous site of the Battle of Spionkop.

FACILITIES

This establishment offers clean, comfortable accommodation. Moreover, the accommodation consists of six bed and breakfast rooms fitted with DSTV. Additionally, a bar fridge, which needs to be stocked by guests. Furthermore, coffee and tea tray, a hairdryer, two gowns and a wall heater and electric blanket for those winter nights, are provided. We offer one twin bedroom, three double rooms, one family room (double bed and single bed) and a Cottage that can accommodate five persons in two rooms, one with a double bed & single and the other with two single beds. There is also a large veranda lounge area for the use of the guests.

Also, the house itself has a history extending over 100 years. Moreover, the atmosphere generated by this beautiful dwelling and its’ owners Carlos and Tish Pereira, is coupled with stunning views to help create an experience you won’t soon forget.

Easby has sweeping views of the surrounding veld, farms and the most beautiful views of the Drakensberg on show. Easby has a charming offering. The communal veranda where meals are served, turns out also to be the best place from which to enjoy the sunset and unwind, feeling the stress drain away as the last of the sun’s rays decorates the sky. Only to be covered with a perfect starlit night.
