Inqevu Lodge

Inqevu Lodge, Central Drakensberg,
South Africa

Inqevu Lodge is a newly established self-catering Lodge in the Cathkin Park or Champagne Valley of the Central Drakensberg in South Africa.

Inqevu means Bearded Vulture – an apt name when one encounters the spectacular views which this lodge has of the Central Drakensberg. Moreover, the third highest peak in South Africa, Champagne Castle and the slightly less diminutive Cathkin Peak in its foreground.

The Bearded Vulture is one of South Africa’s most critically endangered raptors. However, it is seen quite frequently soaring in our Valley, seeking out tasty bones on carrion. It is also one of the most attractive of the vulture group.

Inqevu Lodge has both up-market cottages and apartments for you to choose
